With Oceanloop we are pioneering a sustainable approach to aquaculture by addressing the rising demand for animal protein with our patented, software-controlled and fully automated land-based farming technology. We operate two clearwater RAS-facilities in Germany since 2015 and plan to launch our new RAS-tech center in Kiel in 2026 and an industrial farm in Gran Canaria, Spain by 2027, targeting an annual production of 4,000 tons of grouper and 1,250 tons of shrimp and reducing CO₂ emissions by an estimated 75 million tons per farm. With our scalable and modular RAS technology and data management by our Oceanloop Co-Pilot software, we offer a cutting-edge, eco-friendly seafood farming innovation.
Oceanloop Munich GmbH is a world-wide pioneer in land-based farming of Pacific white shrimp using RAS-technology. The farm is in operation since 2015 with the “Bavarian Shrimp” as new benchmark in shrimp quality in Germany and Austria.
